Andy Murray sticks it to England FC

Despite being English, I’m well pleased at Andy Murray getting through his first set with Andy Roddick in the 3rd round at Wimbledon, at the same time as England get kicked out of the World Cup. After all the abuse he has been getting regarding his own mis-quoted views on the England team, it just shows that there are more sports than football and Britain has more than one country in it.

Living and working in the Isle of Man, a lovely island nestled in the Irish Sea between Ireland and the UK.

I principally work in the Microsoft stack, particularly the .NET Framework, having worked in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, WCF, Silverlight, WPF, SQL Server, ASP.NET Web Forms, Web Pages, MVC and Web API. Other than Microsoft, I have worked in MySQL, FastAI and PayPal.

Outside of work, I’m a Scout Leader, geeky-type person with interest in Manx Gaelic, Tolkien, film and trains.
